Dear Candidate,
As a recruiter and an employer it is our responsibility to give a fair chance to each and every applicant.
We receive very high volumes of applications for roles such as that of a Copywriter of which roughly 10-15% move forward to the technical round (which again is a very high number of candidates).
As much as we would want to send individual emails to every applicant, it is very difficult to do so. Having said that we respond to every candidate who needs a clarification or an extension on the task.
In order to ensure that we are only finalizing candidates based on merit we carefully go over each and every article that is submitted. As for the timeline - within 2 weeks of submitting the task the candidate is informed whether they have made it through to the next round or not.
Once this is done we conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates where we try to understand their expertise, interests and at the same time provide more information about the company.
Once the interviews are done a decision is made within 7-10 days and candidates are informed of the same. This is the typical recruitment cycle we follow.
