I applied online. I interviewed at Newberry Library
Interview
I met with four people from my potential team in a small conference room. They were all very friendly and polite! They gave me the opportunity to speak about why I was qualified for the position, and then asked a variety of standard interview questions. There was lots of time for me to ask my own questions, and they seemed forthright and honest when speaking about the challenges of the position as well as what they would consider benchmarks of success.
They were definitely professional, but it was low-stress and very collegial.

Question 1
Can you describe an instance when you had a large project and broke it down into smaller pieces?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Newberry Library (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2011
Interview
I met with four or five people from the department, all of whom were incredibly kind and informative. They put me at ease and it really felt like they were trying to bring out the best in my candidacy, rather than grilling me about why I was worthy of the job. I also received a tour of the department. The entire interview lasted about 2 hours.

Question 1
Do you have any questions for us? (just kidding, I can't remember any of the specific questions they asked.)
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Newberry Library (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2009
Interview
I interviewed with the head of the dept as well as the immediate supervisor. It was pretty casual, we sat across from one another and they asked me about 5-6 questions. The supervisor was very communicative, but the dept head barely looked at me at all.
