Long interview process with a lot of questions asked. Especially about general rail nor every role specific and chance to share who you are. Some questions were hard to answer.

Question 1
What does everyone home safe everyday mean/ safety
Was Invited to the interview after applying on LinkedIn. Had 3 weeks gap before inviting for the interview. One round interview with a panel of 2 members at their office. All situation based and railway based questions for an hour.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Network Rail (Basingstoke, England) in May 2023
Interview
A straightforward and structured interview process. Interview questions were mostly competancy based with some behavioural and technical questions put into the mix. The hiring managers were encouraging throughout and made me feel at ease.
