      Director of Operations Interview

      26 Mar 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Nesto (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2026

      Interview

      1) Initial Recruiter Interview. 2) VP round, experience discussion, what motivates, how current operational workload is being managed. 3) case study round - provided very limited details on case study, however, was able to explain the focus area, strategic roadmap, target operating model. 4) questions were based on case study - didn’t find panel interested in asking many questions or giving answers to my questions. Only VP delivery was able to explain few things, however, noticed tech side is weaker to understand and they have less clue on their tech stack. One person dropped before answering my question and other person just diverted same question to me, asking what would i do? Typical response to negate two way conversation as per leader’s mindset. Overall, it was ok but if your interview consists Case study you might be wasting your time with uninterested panel. Also case study round says 1 hour in job posting, but it was just 45 minutes including Q&A. I’ll still give thumbs up, hoping things can be improved for future candidates.
