I interviewed at Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners
Interview
I’d be very careful applying with this org.
Overall an odd experience where I think they were actually seeking free consulting and IP to use from interviewees. Wouldn’t be surprised if role is posted again in the next couple of mos. Just beware, folks.
I had 3 interviews/ tasks. The first was a meeting with 2 senior leaders. Next I was asked to create a sample email. Third, I was invited to host a financial presentation and role play w/ a leader acting as client.
After 3 weeks, I heard NOTHING from the company. Odd as I was invited for tasks/ interviews the next day after completion and continued to receive positive feedback. I finally followed up and was told they moved forward w/ another candidate. No problem! But when I asked what differentiated that candidate and what I could’ve done better, I was told they don’t share candidate info.
I’m pretty sure they were going to ghost me if I didn’t follow up. And I think after 3 intensive interviews common courtesy and ethics called for prompt outreach to the interviewee.
I applied online. I interviewed at Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners (New York, NY) in Feb 2023
Interview
Interview with the hiring manager. She was very informative and pleasant. She gave instructive feedback and even answered my additional questions after being rejected for the position about future improvements. Also offered a LinkedIn connection.

Question 1
A lot of questions about my previous work and experience.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners (Washington Heights, NY) in Dec 2018
Interview
No phone screen. Was asked to go into the office twice. Salary was not disclosed. Business Development Manager position advertised as a development position; In actuality, the Business Development Manager is a sales position (waste of time if you're looking for a true development position).
