It was a long time ago. However, I was interviewed by the Director of Special Education, and several Principals. I was a part time person in the system at the time. When the resource room model was instituted in Massachusetts, many people applied for the position. My experience in teaching was what they were looking for as well as my education background. I was originally a fourth grade teacher in New Rochelle, N.Y. When I moved to Massachusetts I went to Boston University and graduated with an MA in Reading. Then I enrolled in Boston College and completed 36 credits in Special Education. I am certified as a classroom teacher, a special education teacher, as a reading teacher and as a principal. I would like to tutor children with learning problems at this time. It was a very pleqasant interview process.
