I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Navan in Jan 2021
Interview
A recruiter reached out for the position and we set a schedule for the following week. The initial call was very promising and I really like how it went (conversational). After the recruiter call, we immediately scheduled the call with the hiring manager. I talked with the hiring manager and he asked me a product sense question. I really came up with great product solutions and listed pain points based on the prioritized user segment. I structure my answers and felt like I did good. However, I couldn't pass the second round and no reason was provided why they decided not to move forward with me.

Question 1
How would you design a fridge for blind people?
What is your favorite product?
The sr director interviewer from the commerce team just kept talking himself for 20 mins in the 45 min interview. Extremely pointless interview. Also the principal recruiter was really rude.

Interview
I have read several glassdoor reviews that TripActions recruiter ghosts the interviewee...and yup, they are true! I applied online and had a recruiter interview where he mentioned a few times that he will put me through to the hiring manager after this call. I followed up with an email. Never heard back. @TripActions recruiter - please have the common courtesy and send a respectfully decline email to the candidates that you've interviewed. We put a lot of effort into the preparation, replying is the LEAST you can do if you are a decent human being.

Interview
I was contacted by the manager and scheduled a meeting. After the meeting I didn't hear back for a while and it turns out I wasn't a matching candidate but got declined with a kind and personalized mail. Overall it's a good experience.
