I applied online. I interviewed at National Security Agency (Baltimore, MD) in Oct 2015
Interview
The interview process went entirely smooth and without any trouble. If you had any experience with job interviews you would't have any problems. It was 1 on 1 and not more than 30 min, cause they have a lot of people to interview. To get to the interview after all the screenings on the phone takes about 3 months. But the entire process of security checks clearance might take up 2 years. Mine was a little more than a year. So be patient.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at National Security Agency (Fort Meade, MD) in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process consisted of a writing assessment, aptitude test and video interview. They were all timed tests, which determined your ability to work under pressure. The video interview was a little awkward, not the questions themselves but the time you had to think of your answer and watching the timer count down as you answered.

Interview
HireVue webcam interview with limited time to answer the questions. It was definitely a unique experience. Once you got over the fact of speaking into a camera it began to flow moderately easy.

Interview
A set of standard questions related to my past experiences and why I would like to work there. Very open-ended, so I felt able to share everything I wanted to share.
