I applied online. I interviewed at National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
Interview
This is an incredibly depressing, impersonal, and disorganized hiring process. I’ve interviewed a few times and my experience has been vastly different each time - you may or may not be notified if you don’t get the job; if you’re not notified in person or within the portal and reach out to recruitment to ascertain the status, they’ll send you a canned response explaining how to use the portal you already checked. I had to reach out directly to the interviewer to get a status on one occasion - they had to apologize on the recruitment team’s behalf that no one had reached out. Jobs are sometimes cancelled out of the blue well past the interview stage with no explanation. For a while, jobs were closing a whole day in advance of the window posted. The interviews themselves are fine; it’s just the process surrounding them that’s horrible.

Other Program Manager interview reviews for National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (Alexandria, VA) in May 2016
Interview
It was a single person interview. It lasted about 30 minutes. I thought it was a screening interview, but it was actually the interview. The person conducting the interview was courteous and asked project management specific questions. All questions were relevant and to the point.
