I applied online. I interviewed at NatWest Group (Bengaluru) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview was face-to-face, but the interviewer didn’t even introduce himself, so I don’t know his name. Right from the start, his approach felt dismissive and uninterested. He asked a few technical questions, but didn’t allow me to finish my answers.
For example, he asked me to write a FastAPI endpoint, and while I was still writing (within 30 seconds), he took the paper back and said what I wrote was wrong. After quickly looking at it again, he realized the code was correct, but his reaction clearly showed discomfort that I had answered it right.
For the first half an hour, I managed to handle his questions well despite the interruptions. But in the second half, his behavior made me nervous, and I couldn’t answer a few questions confidently. He then kept stressing on those missed answers for the rest of the interview.
Overall, it genuinely felt like he already had someone else in mind for the position and was just going through the process. The experience didn’t feel fair or professional.
