I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NYU (New York University)
Interview
I've never written a review on here, but was so frustrated and unimpressed with NYU that I had to write this. Saw a job posted and eventually got a call from a HR rep and scheduled a phone interview. We spoke for close to a hour, she asked all kinds of questions, extremely detailed to the point that it was almost too detailed for a first round interview (such as former bosses names, addresses, contact info, salaries, etc). My impression was that she didn't think I was a perfect fit for the job, and urged me to reach back out to her if I saw other opportunities that looked interesting to me (she even suggested a couple of other jobs that were open to see my interest level). When I never heard anything back after several weeks, I reached back out to her, specifically because I saw other opportunities that looked good as well. A number of emails and phone calls later, spaced out over a period of a few months, with no reply from her. I would say...I get it if you don't think that I'm the right fit for the job, but a) don't make me spend a hour on a phone interview asking extremely detailed past employment questions b) reach out to me to say that I'm not a good fit for the job and/or c) don't tell me to contact you about future opportunities if you have no intention of ever replying.

I have been called for two different assistant director positions I applied for. Both times the person on the phone told me the salary is lower than the range posted.

Are you willing to take a salary lower than the range posted.
I interviewed at NYU (New York University) (New York, NY)
Interview
It was a straightforward process. It began with an HR interview via phone. Then I had a virtual interview with two of the team members. It was then followed by a committee interview that included me giving a 10-minute presentation to the team which was in-person.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at NYU (New York University) (New York, NY) in Mar 2023
Interview
The interview process contains several steps: submit application on the website, phone interview, group interview, and then individual interview. The whole process took a few months to complete. You meet directly with the larger team and then your direct supervisor. There is a presentation component as well but it wasn't too difficult.
