I applied for the position on Oct 25 and was called and invited for an in-person interview on November 25 (just before Thanksgiving). I left a message on Friday Nov 27 and received a call Monday morning. The hiring manager asked me if I could come in the following day, to which I replied yes.
The interview was with the hiring manager and another employee. They were very nice and made me feel very welcome. They had a checklist of questions they asked everyone, nothing hard or unusual. After the interview the hiring manager showed me the desk and "open area" for her team and had me speak informally to two of her staff. They two were very nice.
The Research Foundation has been extremely professional and polite. They send a LETTER once they receive your application and they send a LETTER when a job is withheld or if you are not selected. I get the feeling they really care about their people and treat them with respect (although their salaries are not the best).
Overall the people were great, the work culture is very professional and friendly, and the office environment itself is fine (cubicles with offices for managers).
