You gave people lots of expectations and then disappeared on the half-way but leaving a sneaky process; this is just a perfect way to undermine the company image of an innovative tech firm. Giving your applicants a negative response with or without feedback is totally okay. But ghosting as the applicant is engaged in the process and sending a webinar signup link instead of a decline message after a follow-up mail is unacceptable and insulting.
