Started out with a phone interview, althought recruiter was very polite you could tell all the questions were scripted. First I was given some time to re=hash my resume and then given behaviorial questions where I had to pull answers from my 8 years of selling over 200 homes. I was then told I would hear from them if I made it to the next step which was a 2 hour online behaviorial test as well as an online application. At that point I was considering not even going forward but figured what the heck. Made it to that point and got a call that I made it to the face to face interview. This was to consisit of a one hour interview with each of the 3 sales managers in the division. I had to drive over an hour to get to the interview, the one manager wasn't even there. When I get in the interview they tell me they usually don't hire Realtors! and they only have a sale associate position open where I would be filling in for people on their days off. I was told the training period would be anywhere from 3-9 months and they couldn't guarantee when I would get my own site.
Long story short......they tell me via email although they are impressed with my accomplishments they have decided to continue to interview to find someone who's experience is more of what they are looking for. For the last 8 years I have sold 10x"s more Real Estate than the average agent by finding all my own leads thru being creative and aggressive. We are selling houses here, aren't we?
Do yourself a favor....unless you are willing to "drink the kool-aid" don't waste your time with these people. They are looking for stepford employees who they can brainwash into their way of thinking.
