A warning for others:
You submit your resume on-line, then after a couple of days (for me at least), you get an automated response on whether or not you are moving further along. After this would come the training assuming you are moved forward. Before this is another verification process. This doesn't take more than a few days at most.
The warning is that you might be in the process for training and then after almost 3 months be told that you are not qualified essentially after 2 screenings. It's not the denial but the time it took because during this time, you would be able to apply, land other jobs. The denial could have come within two weeks...why almost 3 months. I found this extremely inconsiderate.
Deployment: I have heard from current workers does not necessarily happen as quickly as you would think. Some have had to wait 2 months some 3 months +. So be careful of rumors that speak of "lots of jobs."
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NVE - Virginia (Wichita, KS) in Jul 2023
Interview
The interview was straight to the point and they made me feel comfortable. The interview questions allowed me to be open and honest about my abilities and skills. Also, the interviewers keep their word regarding the job placement process.

Question 1
I was asked what jobs I previously worked pertained to the position, I applied for today?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NVE - Virginia (Beltsville, MD) in Jul 2022
Interview
The management prefers to hold an initial Teams video meeting to access the individual's interest and work/life background. After the initial call, if the candidate is qualified and interested, they are invited to the site to meeting the current staff and view the location and processes they will be tasked with to ensure that everyone is making the most informed decision possible.
