      Anonymous employee
      Houston, TX
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NRG Energy (Houston, TX) in May 2019

      Interview

Interviewed with 2 hiring managers... I told them about me, explained my job history, answered a few behavioral questions as well as questions about my skills. Asked them a few questions that I made up from looking at the companies's press releases.

      Credit Representative I Interview

      15 Sept 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Houston, TX
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NRG Energy (Houston, TX) in Jun 2015

      Interview

It was the same supervisors I had for a couple years: I went from contract staffing agency position to becoming a permanent employee. It was weird because they acted like they didn't know me. I appreciate the process being fair but could add a little human element to it. They called me into the room and I answered some questions as to why I qualify for the position.

      Question 1

They asked me to tell me about myself. I had already worked with them for a few years so I thought it was a funny question.

      Credit Representative Interview

      28 Feb 2016

      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at NRG Energy in Apr 2015

      Interview

Pretty quick, smooth and laid-back, surprisingly. Usually will be two supervisors who interview you and it's not an interview that I found to be stressful at all. I would say it was probably one of the easiest ones I've done.

      Question 1

How well do you manage high stress situations and how does your background encompass this?
