There were a total of three rounds with different people on the research team I would be working with on a daily basis. Very informative, sound understanding of everyone's role and some basic interview questions.
Pretty average interview. Mostly questions about what you know about real estate (no worries if you don't know anything). Chelle (HR interviewer) explained the job, training involved (Excel, data analysis), and explained the opportunity to become an appraiser in the future. A few normal job interview questions. Ultimately, this just didn't seem like the place for me. It was implied during the job interview that work life balance wasn't really a priority here.

Question 1
Q. What do you know about real estate? Q. How do you handle multiple deadlines?
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NPV Advisors (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2013
Interview
I applied through CREW network (a networking event). I was emailed by the president regarding my resume within 1-2 months afterwards. They asked me for an interview. There was a lot of back & forth in email to get a time for me to come in. I interviewed with my "now" boss who is the manager of the researching team. It was very casual, one on one interview. He asked me no "normal" questions like "name a situation..." etc. He was more interested in my career goals, why I wanted to work with NPV, what I knew about the company (he introduced it to me), etc.
After the interview, he emailed me for a list of references. After I sent that, he called my references the next day (they told me), he called me immediately after he called my ref (apparently they spoke well of me). He offered me the position immediately. He emailed a few days later the actual "offer" to make it formal. I created a start date, he sent paperwork to bring, etc.
