I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at NIKE (New York, NY) in May 2015
Interview
I applied online. It took about a month for them to get back to me. They call for a phone interview and if you pass that, they schedule you for a group interview a few days later. I was in a group of 6 people. The questions are fairly straightforward. Basic questions about customer service and how you handle situations. They want to test that you can handle a fast-paced retail environment. The interviewers do their best to make the interviewees feel comfortable expressing themselves. The interview lasts around half an hour and I felt a genuine connection to the interviewers by the time it was over. I received my job offer roughly a week later after the background check went through. They call you from a hotline in the Midwest I believe and as far as I know it's just one person doing it, so if you miss the call it will be FAIRLY difficult to reach the lady that makes the calls, but eventually I did get her.

Question 1
Give an example of a time a manager gave you an instruction that you didn't understand, and how did you handle it?
Quick and easy, first round is about 15 minute HireVue interview with about 6 questions on retail experience. Its all recorded responses so it isn't super intimidating. Next would be the in person interviews which is more of getting to know your character.
It was a group setting very much not a 1v1. Try to stand out but positively, Show intent and practicality, and show you will be a great teammate to work with.
