I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NIKE (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2013
Interview
I interviewed for two positions. Business Systems Analyst and another on their Digital Tech team. Kind of a strange situation on how it all worked.
Applied on college jobs website for the Business Systems Analyst position and got a scheduled on-campus interview date with NIKE after around two weeks. The interview was two parts with the initial being with a director and manager in supply chain and the second with the overall internship coordinator. I checked the amount of other people that they interviewed on a list very quickly and saw that they had around 4-5 other applicants as well.
In the first interview they asked a bunch of situational and behavioral questions. They asked: What are the first five things you would do once you stepped onto Nike Campus? Tell me about a moment when you spoke up during a meeting and you were wrong. What are the biggest challenges facing supply chain? What is one thing you would do to improve supply chain? They overall really want to get to know about you.
The second interview with the internship coordinator was also very behavioral and consisted of a lot of pretty easy interview questions. During the middle of the interview however she saw my experience and asked me if I would like to be interviewed for another division of NIKE in Digital tech as well since I was an engineering major. Overall it was a good experience. The second interviewer asked me about if I interviewed with any other companies too.
For the digital tech interview, it was done over the phone and with a team specialist and manager. They asked me technical and behavioral questions, but not too technical. Things like: Difference between an array and vector, the difference between private and protected fields, what inheritance is, the difference between blackbox testing and whitebox testing, how would you test a login password combination? What is a java exception class?
They also asked me situational questions about what I did at my current internship in terms of QA and what I would do if given a project that I couldn't complete.
