They had me come into their headquarters and you’ll be guided to one of their meeting rooms. Then you’ll show your portfolio and the interview will go about 45min-1hr. I had two different interviews for two different positions and first one had 6 panels and the second one had 3 panels.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NIKE (Portland, OR)
Interview
Coming from being a contract worker so things move a bit quicker and more direct. You essentially show up and present yourself and your work as you would any design job. Big emphasis on yourself.
Who are you and why you make the design choices you make seem important to highlight, big emphasis on the story. Very important to show you have vision for whichever position you’re applying for.
Panel interviews may take the most energy and planning, the 1 on 1s are much more informal. Both relaxed enough... it’s shoes.

Question 1
What unique thing do you think you can provide to help drive a fresh point for the team?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NIKE in Apr 2015
Interview
Casual, friendly. Listened and responded so well. It was for a contract position so it was much less formal than an employee position would be. I was coming from a different background so we talked a lot about what skills would transfer.
