I applied online. I interviewed at NIH (Rockville, MD) in Oct 2015
Interview
I received the email that I was referred and about 3 weeks later I was called by HR for an interview. The interview was around October 7, 2015 and now December 6th I have heard nothing. I sent a thank you email which did not warrant a response despite my asking specific questions. I was told by others it can take months.
I thought the interview went well and felt like the panel liked my responses to the 15 question round robin. There were lots of head nods and smiles.

Interview
The interview process was pretty simple: Three individuals asked you questions. At first, it felt overwhelming, but the interviewers did a really good job of making the interview feel comfortable.

Round table interview with three people. Not as difficult as you would think. Just a little intimidating, in the beginning, They explain how the interview will work, and what types of questions they will ask.

Interview
Got an call to set up an interview 6 weeks after applying. Interview a few weeks later. Panel interview with questions asked by each person. Pleasant but not overly friendly (the same interview had to be given to each person). Was told the next week I got the position. Good process but requires patience!
