I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at NHS in Mar 2025
Interview
Very thorough with lots of guidance. Had 3 stages: application, online tests, assessment centre. Assessment centre was quite long from 1-5pm. However it was not very difficult, was quite similar to other assessment centres I have done in the past.
There was an initial application where you enter all your details like work experience, education etc. After that, there was then an assessment which tested you as an individual in scenarios and this also had some video questions you had to record your answer to. After that was an assessment centre.

Application

Interview
Assessment Centre:
1:1 interview - 10 mins motivation-based questions, and 20 mins competency-based questions.
Group-based exercise - Working in a group to decide which methods or things should the team choose, based on what reasons, have graphs to show some indications like the cost to run, and public interest. In the middle of the assessment, it would give you some different information to ask to rethink your answers.
Written exercise- Give a description of questionnaires and some charts, and would need to provide initial trends and thoughts on the situation and any improvements.
Presentation - Close a workstream, and ask you to handle that.
