      Trainee Role Interview

      25 Nov 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NHBC in Nov 2025

      Interview

It was a panel interview, lasted about an hour. Talked about the job to begin with, then you introduce yourself, and the interviewers ask you some questions about yourself. Then they move on to asking you 4 competency based questions, definitely use the STARR Method that NHBC suggested. All the interviewers were really friendly and professional. Definitely dress smart.

      Question 1

One of the question was, what do I know about the role and why I’ll be a good fit for it. Then there were standard competency questions for you to showcase yourself.
