There were 3 Rounds. We were 120 members.
1st Round - Resume Shortlisting Based on skills and Grades.
2nd Round - Written Technical Test. Separate for Each department. ( Mechanical )
The technical test is not MCQs. They were explanation questions to test the fundas. Most questions were application related. You do not need to remember all the formulas. But if you don't understand the concept even slightly, then you can't be sure if you would qualify. 40 Questions 60 Minutes. Time managing is essential. You really can't complete the paper if you elaborate everything. Just answer what they ask. Short and crisp is expected.
3rd Round - Technical Interview.
Two HR from technical Background who are clear with concepts. First they just notice your behavior. They then go through your resume and fire some questions related to your experience and Projects mainly. After that is over, they ask what your favorite subject is! Then you are tested through your subjects starting from very basic questions. On hear the basic questions don't become over confident, They will then start asking from their research practices but everything will be application oriented.
