Interview
Really bizarre interview experience: I interviewed for Systems engineer position. I got an email from HR telling me I had an interview with JPL. I had applied for 3 different jobs there 4 months earlier and didn't know which job they were considering me for. When I was told it was for a systems engineer, they had taken down the job posting and I couldn't find any information about the role, location, what's expected of me. I went into the 1st round blind. It was a phone call where 6 people were sitting in a room. Not everyone introduced themselves until they started talking so at one point I had to ask, "sorry who all am I speaking to - just want to make sure I'm introducing myself properly". Everyone rattled off their titles and names - I remembered half of them and none of their titles. I think they could tell I was a little confused and annoyed. I was in the midst of a post-college job hunt where every interview counted and was getting jaded at the way employers treated prospective candidates. It wasn't negative per say but it was bizarrely unprofessional and my reaction to the way the treated me probably cost me the job.

There will be a number of phone screenings and technical interviews. This will sometimes be followed by an in-person technical interview. They will then reach out to you with an offer if you are a good fit.

Interview
Two phone screens with group manager & section manager followed by a technical presentation and panel interview. Phone screens were mostly just going through resume and answering questions about the company. The technical presentation was on a past project I've worked on, and the panel interviews were highly technical and involved in-depth systems engineering, EE, and coding questions. Much more difficult panel interviews than I expected, but they thoroughly vet their candidates.

Interview
Hiring Manager emailed, to schedule a 30 min call. Then they scheduled an online presentations (Covid time) with managers/senior members. This followed with one to one interviews over few next days.
The HR person was very rude and was the most difficult and annoying part of the interview.
