      Recruiter Interview

      13 Mar 2019
      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mya (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2019

      Interview

The interview process was 3 steps - an intro call to gauge surface level fit, an in-person meeting with my hiring manager that lasted about an hour and went into more depth of my experience, and an onsite that involved 4 interviewers lasting about 3 hours. These steps were scheduled at convenient times for me despite my limited schedule, which I appreciated. Communication with Mya was very clear and I knew what my next steps were and who I'd be meeting with after each conversation. I appreciated receiving constructive feedback (both positive and not-as-positive) and was glad to have the opportunity to discuss these points with my hiring manager. The offer I received was competitive for the market and fair for my experience level.

      Question 1

I don't remember the specific verbiage, but it was a standard recruiting interview. I was asked about my experience with various hiring focus areas, challenges I've overcome in early stage companies, how I partner with hiring managers, how I would like to grow on this team and in my role, etc.
