First, you’ll participate in an initial phone screening to go over your background, experience, and overall fit for the role. Next, you’ll receive a follow-up phone call with a hiring manager (or team member) to dive deeper into your technical experiences and discuss specific aspects of the position. Finally, you’ll advance to a hands-on technical interview focused on SQL: you’ll be asked to write queries, optimize database schemas.

Interview
My recruitment process for the position at Moon Active began when a recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn. After an initial phone conversation, I was invited to an in-person interview that included a team lead and a group manager. Following that, I received a take-home test, which consisted of three SQL questions, three ETL-related questions, and three business-related questions focused on the game, such as providing examples of KPIs that could be measured.
After submitting the test, I was invited for an HR interview, followed by an interview with the department head. Finally, I was asked to provide two references. The entire process was quick, efficient, and conducted in a very professional and high-quality manner.
