I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Moody's (Duluth, MN) in Mar 2023
Interview
I applied to Moody's online in February of 2023, about two weeks later I was contacted by a recruiter to set up an initial call. The call lasted about 20mins, and mostly consisted of them describing the role to me in more detail. A few days later I got a link to take an assessment. They give you 3 hours to answer a series of questions regarding statistics and some coding. The last part asks you to download, clean and parse a dataset in either Python or R and then answer a series of questions. That part was hard, but the rest of the assessment wasn’t too bad. Then about a week and a half later I was contacted about a follow up interview with the hiring manager and the supervisor of the team. It was one of the worst interviews I have ever had, the process for setting it up was disorganized and untimely. The interviewers seemed bored, and they were dismissive of my answers.
Applied online. HR reached out to schedule an interview with the hiring manager, but the manager seemed uninterested in my candidacy. Wasn’t surprised that I wasn’t selected to move forward in the process.
