I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Monte Carlo Data in Oct 2024
Interview
Pretty straight forward, included a presentation, a conversation with the manager and director. The team seemed pretty cool. The company culture seems great and everyone was really excited to be there.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Monte Carlo Data in Apr 2025
Interview
I applied for a contract role and was surprised to receive an interview invite within hours. I had an introductory call with the recruiter the next day. The 30-minute call ended after just 15 minutes and that’s after the recruiter showed up late, with no acknowledgment or apology.
Despite being overqualified for the role, I was told, “You don’t have inbox management experience, and that’s important for this role.” Funny enough, I do have that experience and clearly explained it, but it seemed the recruiter had already made up her mind. Also worth noting: inbox management wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the job description. If it’s that important, you might want to include it so candidates can tailor their applications accordingly. Overall, the experience came off as rushed, dismissive, and frankly unprofessional.
