I had 6 interviews. Nothing about the process was clear not even which was the hiring team or the recruiter. All the people that interviewed me were unaware in which step of the process was I or with whom I spoke before them.
After all the process they ghosted for a month almost making me wait and lose my time in the process. It’s the first time I experienced something like that. Totally unprofessional.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MongoDB (Emea) in Aug 2025
Interview
Straigh forward, 1 screening interview with the Recruiter and a loop with 4 1.1 interviews with the hiring team.
The process itself was fine, they have a candidate portal that is actually very cool and handy,
The interviewers were really poor, they are trying to replicate Amazon's Leadership Principals competency based format, but they forgot to get proper training.
The level of indiference in managing the questions was such that I felt disrespected, they have no clue of the difference betweeen nutral and professional from indifferent and snob. They really need to work hard to get to Amazon's level of assessment.
I was not made an offer, actyally to this day I did not receive the outcome or feedcback call/email, yet they sent me an interview process feedback survey which was gas.
If I had been made an offer that would have been an easy no.
The team sounds as toxic as they could be.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MongoDB in Sept 2024
Interview
The interview process was quite brief because I was hired for a contractor position. I first started with an interview with the hiring manager that lasted about 45 minutes and then an interview with the Director which lasted another 45 minutes.
