I had a casual phone call and then three interviews—two technical and one behavioral. Also, the job description is very vague and should be updated. In my first interview, there were two interviewers; the first was about 10 minutes late, and the second was about 25 minutes late. They then said we would have to reschedule since there wasn't time to do it. So they wasted about an hour of my time. They asked me pretty difficult questions, but mostly, they were fair based on my experience. One interview told me a fact I said was incorrect and that I should reevaluate my research and the literature I read. After the interview, I looked up the fact, and multiple reputable sources confirmed that my fact was correct and that the interviewer was incorrect. Additionally, they seemed to misinterpret many of the things I would answer and also interrupted me several times. Both interviewers arrived on time for my second interview, but one of them said they would be busy for the first 10-15 minutes. I would not have minded, but after the first interview went as it did, it frustrated me because it was very unprofessional and made me feel disrespected. If the roles were reversed and I was late or was busy during the interview, it would not be professional and be considered disrespectful. My last interview was the most welcoming and the questions were simple. The interviewers also smiled and actually looked glad to be there.
