I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods (Valley Stream, NY) in Aug 2015
Interview
I had applied maybe in winter and they called me back that summer. It was one on one, she was actually eating her lunch while she was interviewing me but she sat me down, asked me 1 or 2 questions, then she had me fill out paperwork and told me to bring 2 forms of ID, I ended up going home and bringing it back the same day. Then she called me to come to work the next week

I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods (Rockaway, NJ)
Interview
Straightforward, just an interview with the general manager to discuss experience and scheduling / availability. They were able to answer my questions and gave me a response just a few days later.
Light and straight forward process. Not bad for an entry level job. Be aware you will be on your feet at all times. Know how to calculate basic money math and deals
