I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Mobovida
Interview
I had a phone interview with their HR recruiter that lasted about 30mins, and went to the 2nd process of the interview, which was in person with the founder/owner(?). The in-person interview was the same as the phone just with the owner in the room with his gym clothes. Which I thought was unprofessional. The company is very laid back but seemed very careful of choosing the right candidates at all cost and right cost.
I applied online. I interviewed at Mobovida in Dec 2016
Interview
Applied online and received an email to set up a 30 min phone screen. After the phone screen, the recruiter passed my resume onto the hiring manager. Said they liked me as a candidate, but wanted me to take an online test asking various questions that did and did not pertain to the position. I took the test thinking it would be about 15 min. It ended up being around 45 min. Mind you, this is before the face to face interview. After a few days they informed me they are going to pass on me, which is fine. I think they had me take the test to crowd source potential strategies to implement. This shows that the company might not have a growth plan in place and needs free advice. Note to future candidates, don't bother taking that online assessment. It's meant to steal your ideas and marketing strategies.
