I was contacted by a recruitment agency. The idea was to lead software development team of MobileBridge. They had an interim manager back then and wanted someone who would help develop their product further and manage engineers.
It was hard to get recent information about the company. Website was not too detailed. Blogposts, videos or twitter were from couple of years old.
After a couple of rounds of interviews, they just disappeared. When I wanted to learn the status from the agency, the only message I received was "they just did not feel that you quite had the ‘cultural’ match for the company at this stage of their growth."
