So, in early 2020 I applied to Mitrais as a software engineer in .Net
It took 4 steps:
1) I got a call in English from HR and conducted a short interview with general questions.
2) Technical coding test (The kind of test and the difficulty itself depends on what roles that you apply such as either NodeJS dev or .Net dev)
3) 1 month later, I got the news that I passed the coding test and will be getting a technical interview with the manager.
Most of them are important fundamentals, such as OOP, software architecture, design patterns, coding principles, SDLC, etc.
And also the specific knowledge, let's say if you apply as .Net developer, you will be asked a bunch of questions about C#, ASP .NET, Entity Framework Core, RDBMS, Azure, and some of the others that related to .Net development. And is a plus if you know about the CI/CD things and another tech stack besides your main role.
4) After that, I passed the test and was immediately invited to take part in the last step, interview with HR.
I didn't receive any emails after that, so I thought I was a complete flop and bad at the last step.
But a few months later, I joined another company and tadaaa.. suddenly got an email from Mitrais :p
They said that I was in Mitrais Talent Pool, so whenever they need new employees, I will get the priority.
Well, in the end, at the beginning of this lovely year 2021, I tried to re-applied to Mitrais.
As usual, got several calls and emails, then after that, I was directly invited to do the technical interview (like no 4 above) + live coding session. OMG!
To be honest I prefer technical coding as usual rather than this because I'm really bad at live coding sessions. The feeling of being nervous is really killed me.
But you should know that luckily I passed them all :p
At the end of this story, I got a job offer from HR. And that's really amazing because they prepare everything so well.
I mean, they convey the information very well, as well as the contract, the rules, the required documents, etc. Everythings smoothly.
But most importantly, the salary itself is high and a lot of benefits. Trust me.
Oh ya, and also we got the new laptop from the company. The spec itself is really good.
This is an honest review from me.
Thank you very much Mitrais!
