Overall, the interview process was great! It was definitely long, but that is the case with most software engineering interviews. The interviewers were super nice and the questions were challenging, but fair. The recruiter was also very helpful with answering questions and making sure I knew where I was at each step in the process.
The only real pain point was that it took a long time to get from the initial recruiter call to the first engineering phone screen. That process involved talking with the recruiter, taking an aptitude test and personality assessment, and then waiting to hear if the engineering team wanted to move forward with the main interview process. Those steps took a total of about 3 weeks.
Once I was told that I would be moving forward with the first engineering phone screen, the process sped up significantly and was much smoother. The remaining steps included: a phone screen with one of the engineers, a take home coding test, and a final panel interview consisting of 4-5 interview sessions. The team was awesome and everyone that interviewed me seemed like they genuinely wanted me to succeed.
After the final interview, the team made their decision quickly and I was notified by the recruiter right away. I was very happy with how straightforward and transparent the process was.
