      Digital Marketing Manager Interview

      8 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Singapore
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Miele (Singapore) in Apr 2026

      Interview

It's a waste of time attending the interview in Singapore. The position offered in the job description and during the interview were two totally different positions. The recruiter and HR said they were hiring 'Digital Marketing Manager' but it turns out they were hiring something else. I went for the first interview, and everything was okay. Waited for few weeks and was called up for a second interview. Mind you, I applied annual leaves to attend their physical interviews because they insisted on an on-site interview. Fine. The two interviewers seemed confused and dismissive when I told them about my past experiences, because they were looking for a BRAND Activation Manager, not a DIGITAL Marketing Manager. If they had read my resume or had already clarified with me earlier, none of us would have had to waste our time. The 2nd interview, one of the interviewers was rude and constantly cutting me off most of the time. After the interview, I sent an email to the HR to clarify the job scope and position, because it seemed they had some communication lapse over there. 2 weeks later and I am still not getting any responses from their team. I wasted my time, effort and my annual leaves to come down. Unprofessional, do not apply.
