First round was coding round with 3 questions. Time was about 1.5 hrs and those who done all three in good time were selected.
After that was two technical and one HR round.

Question 1
In 1st interview we were given a sorted array with all elements occurring two times and only one element had a frequency of 1. Needed to find that element. 2nd question was to find the starting and ending index of multiple appearing element in the array.
In 2nd round the problem given was Box Stacking. (LIS)
In HR there were some normal behavioral questions and some questions from tries and hashmap.
I applied online. I interviewed at Microsoft (Melbourne)
Interview
After submitting an online application, I received a HackerRank assessment after passing the resume screening stage, then I was rejected after completing the assessment and did not proceed to further interview rounds.

Question 1
The assessment consisted of two LeetCode-medium-level coding questions to be completed within 75 minutes.
45 mins technical interview with a member of their San fran team. Very relaxed and informal but questions were focused and lots of follow ups. Easy to schedule as was over video conferencing platform
Straightforward technical loop overall, with strong interviewers at every stage. I genuinely enjoyed the in-depth conversations around technical challenges and algorithmic problem-solving — the entire process felt well-structured and genuinely engaging.
