I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft (Irving, TX) in Oct 2018
Interview
2 Skype Meetings:
1. The first will be with the hiring team's technical lead and another team's manager
2. The second will be with the hiring team's manager. You will do Role Play scenario to show your technical solution selling skills
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Microsoft
Interview
1 st interview with HR
2nd interview with a Senior Technical Solution Professional (TSP)
3rd interview with Sales Director
4th interview with Marketing Manager
Interviews are via Skype (which was not always working properly on both sides) and they are set to last 30 minutes max. Everybody seemed in a rush except for the TSP and HR. After two weeks of no news from them I sent an email to HR. no replies. After one month I resend an email. no replies. after 1 month and half, I call the HR guy, he was a bit lost, told me he would call the day after. He does not call me. I send him an email, he replies with an excuse and reschedule the call. after two days he finally calls me with some, what seemed, standard answers about why I was not offered the position. Microsoft really surprised me by its shallow recruitment process and lack of professionalism.
