Interview
Talked to some Microchip folks at an ASU career fair and got an interview. We went out to lunch first with the whole team and then proceeded with a 2-3 hour interview. I met one-on-one with two engineers, a manager, and then HR.

Question 1
Questions on electronics fundamentals such as amplifiers, filters, etc and some creative problem solving questions. A challenging but fair interview. HR and management will ask you the typical questions about your goals, what you know about the company, etc.

Can match with many teams, many potential interviews scheduled on the same day, teams will be picked based on your skill set, be prepared to answer C based questions based on your role.
Interview had general digital design questions and a bit of system verilog and fsm design. Bit of c++ and perl scripting as well. Nothing related to python. Fsm was a sequence detector question
There were no pressure and they were welcoming. My interview took little bit over than 2 hours. I got interviewed by three people (HR Manager, Engineering Manager, Technician Team Leader). After the interview they told me they will reach back to me after a week. Surprisingly they didn't considering how went well the interview process and its been almost 2 weeks. I e-mailed them for a follow-up multiple time however never got a reply from them.
