I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Michaels (Wilmington, NC) in Aug 2012
Interview
Applied online and got an e-mail about a week later telling me to call and set up an interview. The interview was very casual and only about 20 mins. Basically he told me about the job and asked a few questions about. Was offered the job a few hours later when he called me back.
It was simple and comfortable. I felt like I could open up and get a good amount of information regarding the position and benefits. The process went by fast and the company communicated well.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Michaels (New York, NY)
Interview
Fairly simple process. Interviewed with the assistant manager then with the Manager. Basic questions about work history and experience . Also asked about scheduling availability and willingness to work nights and or weekends.
