I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mettlence
Interview
I recently interviewed with Mettlance and wanted to share my experience with others considering opportunities with this company. While Mettlance presents an enticing image externally, my interaction with their hiring process left much to be desired.
Firstly, the interview process was peculiar. After completing an MBTI personality test, I was asked to undergo a second personality assessment. Subsequently, I was contacted by HR after sharing my test results, and was informed that the interview would focus on assessing cultural fit. However, the actual interview took an unanticipated turn when the HR asked intrusive questions regarding my age and marital status, which I found to be both unprofessional and irrelevant to evaluating professional suitability.
Following the interview, despite expressing a genuine interest in receiving constructive feedback, I received a generic rejection email. My attempts to seek clarification were met with silence, leaving me feeling disregarded and undervalued as a candidate. This lack of communication and professionalism from the HR team reflects poorly on the company's commitment to transparency and candidate experience.
While Mettlance may excel in employee branding and external perception, their hiring process raises significant concerns. Candidates invest considerable time and effort preparing for interviews, and the least they deserve is transparent communication and constructive feedback. My experience with Mettlance has led me to question the integrity of their hiring practices, and I am grateful to have avoided potential employment with them.
In conclusion, I would caution prospective candidates to carefully consider their interactions with Mettlance and to approach the hiring process with a critical eye.
