I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Method Financial (New York, NY) in May 2025
Interview
- the recruiting team was professional and helpful
- the virtual onsite round was relatively short and in my opinion not deep enough to capture the candidate's full strength
- they tried to come up with their own innovative coding interview format but it was a bit clunky with some technical difficulties
- recruiter offered to hop on a call post-onsite to give feedback but when the call actually happened they couldn't provide anything too meaningful; they only mentioned you need a strong advocate in order for you to actually get an offer and even mentioned that one interviewer didn't fill the feedback sheet so they couldn't provide anything
- overall the experience was positive but they made you commit lots of time to the process with 3 rounds and an onsite and hang-out with the team but in the end provided very little insight

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Method Financial (New York, NY)
Interview
Long interview process (common nowadays for startups). 30 minutes with recruiting team, 45 min with hiring manager, case study, technical interview, then an interview with cfo/ceo. The case study was two part: financial p&l statement, and coding assessment.

Question 1
Why method? Weakness? Strength? Lots of "tell me about a time..."
