- how many bits in MAC add, convert it to Bytes
- how many bits in IPV6 , if i answered 128 bit, they guy ask us to convert it bytes....and sometimes simple questions become a bottle neck.....lol
- he asked abt TCP/IP, of course we all know what it is and how it works, once i explain he ask, how many flaqs are there in TCP/ip,
- what is the TCP ip first sequence number ?
- OSPF = once i explain the whole functionality of OSPF, he ask me LSA type 1, 4,, 5 , what it does ?
-how many bits are there in 1 byte.
- when u bring up a P2P connection, the interface is down. what do u check ?
- i answered, mask/30, ip address must be correct,
-he said all good, what else u check, i said cable type, transceiver type, he replied all good,
- i said, speed-duplex, he said all good.
- he said its related to RX/TX -4, -85 (this was very jargon for me, )
I'm sure it was a network deployment role, and not a Data center engineer.
I dont' know what the interviewer trying to achieve. it was totally waste of my time.
just sharing my unpleasant experience :)
