I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta (Washington, DC) in Oct 2021
Interview
If you are a minority(colored) you will not get the offer. Regardless if you do good or not, they give benefit of not being colored. Need to be either Asian or white to get the job.
The interview was a technical assessment for a Product Design Engineer position. It included a wide array of technical questions, covering everything from the design phase to manufacturing processes. While the questions weren't particularly difficult, they were broad in scope, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle.
Straight forward interview format with an initial HR call, followed by a technical interview with a product design engineer. Format for the technical interview was well established and straight forward.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
first round with the hiring manager asked some light technical questions (GDT, stress strain, material selection, etc) and about experiences on my resume and history at past jobs. the guide they provided was very comprehensive and representative of what was asked during the interview.
