A friend recommended I submit my resume for a position in the administration office. I did so and was quickly was contacted by the manager, with whom I subsequently interviewed. The interview went very well; unfortunately, it seems my requested salary was too rich for their blood. I had additional contact with the Mercy recruiter, but neither of these folks thought it necessary to provide follow up to me, which I felt to be unprofessional. Even a form-type letter or email to advise that they had gone a different direction would have been appreciated, and is so much better than ghosting a job candidate.
