I was sent an announcement from my university's Psi Chi club about a company looking for entry-level behavior therapists to work with children on the spectrum. I received a call from one of the company's hiring managers and he explained the job and its requirements. I was asked to schedule an in-person interview with the site's clinical director. I arrived on time and the interview lasted for roughly 45 minutes to an hour because she asked a lot of questions about myself and what I knew about autism (which at the time, was not a lot). She also told me about the advancement opportunities within Merakey. She was very professional and kind. The entire process (from the initial application date to the hire date) was roughly 6-7 weeks. There were a lot of things to get done before the mandatory training week.
