I applied through the website in early Aug, and within a week got an HR interview. The scheduling for the interview was pretty bumpy so HR was very apologetic and sweet to me. My interview with the PI was scheduled next, around mid-Aug which went well. It was a candid interview where we both spoke of our strong points (not just me!) so I was very happy. I also had another offer in hand (who is the PI's close friend) which I was candid about. I think that really speeded things up for me. Next, I had a lab interview of about 3 hours where I met most of the lab (13 ppl) and went well. Overall I heard back from them very quickly. I need an H1B transfer. I got the offer in September start for a join date in November start. But HR only has started working on my transfer process on Oct 5. I'm not sure if my visa will go through before my start date (they don't really reply to or my boss's emails) so kinda bummed about it. Hopefully, it goes through! So keep that in mind for someone who needs a visa.
