An external recruiter was hired to start the interview process. I had two interviews with him and had to fill out a questionnaire. It was clear from the beginning that he did not understand the role he was recruiting for. After a 30 minute interview, he asked to schedule a second interview the following week for another 30 minutes. The questions in the second interview were very similar to the first and it is unclear why they could not have been one longer interview. Then I had to fill in a questionnaire, answering the same questions again, in written form. It came across as if he was either not able to take notes on my answers or he didn't understand the questions and answers so he needed my answers in written format. Meanwhile, during the interview he was walking around the room, holding his laptop at a variety of angles, and also had people walking through the background. It all felt very unprofessional, and moreover like a waste of my time. It all could have been one call. Unfortunately I did not make it to the next round, which would have been meeting with the Melwood team.
