I applied online. I interviewed at Meltwater (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter via e-mail within a few days to schedule a phone interview for the following week. The questions were not tricky but the attitude of the recruiter was not very welcoming or encouraging which impacted my answers during the phone interview. I'm sure there are a variety of recruiters but the person who interviewed me was just cold so I had to put more energy into the phone interview in my attempt to do well and she did not seem impressed and I did not hear from her after the phone call.

Question 1
Why sales? Are you competitive? Strengths and weaknesses? What do you know about Meltwater?
made it past the screening, learned from hiring manager they expect 150 dials per day, which is insane. you are a full cycle rep, how are you supposed to run any demos and close any deals if you are dialling 150 times per day. Not to mention the base pay is trash. what a joke.

Interview
Very kind and supportive team! However, I felt that the interviewer was not quite engaged from the beginning. Overall, great experience and enjoyed the process. The interview left me feeling excited about the opportunity and what it would be like to work at the company!

Interview
HR Screen: 30 minutes
Panel Interview: 60 minutes
Friendly team. Mock sales interview for the panel. Clear about expectations (need to hustle in this role, not a chill 9-5). Asked a mix of behavioural questions and motivation questions.
